In order to pass the fire code inspection, this new building required that eight service window openings in walls requiring fire rating be outfitted with fire containment / smoke control shutters. Cornell’s SmokeShield® Counter Fire Shutters close automatically in a fire emergency limiting the spread of damaging smoke and fire thus protecting life and property. They fit the bill!
New cottage-style housing at the Park Ridge Living Center provides skilled nursing services in a safe environment, in part thanks to counter fire shutters installed by McClain Associates.
